Think back to primary school and I can guarantee you can remember who your pre-teen crush was. For most of us, it was exactly that - a crush, but for Triin and Henri it lasted long past their 2x2 tables and spelling tests.
Triin and Henri have been together since before they could tie their own shoes and although they weren't quite sure if it was true love, everyone else around them knew one day they'd be married. Today we share with you their stunning simple wedding, in the equally stunning Estonian countryside. All captured with a sense of ethereal whimsy by Sandra Palm. This picture perfect couple met in school when they were just 7 years old. Finally an official couple, Triin and Henri headed off on a year-long trip to Australia quite the test of a new relationship!
They obviously flourished together, because on their way home Henri took advantage of a rather beautiful pit-stop and got down on one knee as Triin explained We were finishing off our one-year trip in Australia and went for New Zealand for 2 weeks before coming back to Estonia.
We took a helicopter trip to the Fox Glacier and landed on top of a mountain. And as the helicopter pilot was taking pictures of us posing with the beautiful view, Henri got down on one knee and proposed. What a place to propose. For the wedding it was back to Triin's beautiful home in Estonia, where both the ceremony and reception took place. Triin and Henri wanted to avoid anything too wedding-y, instead they just wanted a party to celebrate their love and the next step into marriage.
Traditions that meant nothing to them were abandoned, and the couple designed a day that was more them. Given they were going to end the day as husband and wife, they decided to start the day together - getting ready and spending some time having their wedding photos taken before the ceremony and celebration began. Hence these gorgeous portraits. This time alone before everything kicked off was incredibly precious to them both.
